Denis Morecroft of DNM began designing hi-fi equipment in 1978 and is considered by many reviewers and designers as one of the industries best ‘outside the box’ thinkers. Recipent of numerous industry awards over the last 30 years, the NEW 3D series Pre-amplifier is the culmination of one man’s un-wavering persuit of perfection over almost 30 years...
The key to DNMs success is his holistic / complete systems approach including every aspect of the audio signal path....
YOU CANNOT DENY THE LAWS OF PHYSICS!A conductor carrying an audio signal generates a pulsating magnetic field..... a magneticfield encountering any metallic object will induce a current flow, thereby robbing the original signal of some of its energy. The DNM cables, component selection and acrylic case construction are all based on this fundamental law of Physics. |
Starting from the source component, in 1984 DNM released his solid core spaced conductor cable, since copied by many, these were the original solid core cables and are still considered by many as the best audio cables for home Hi-Fi regardless of price.
An advanced new speaker cable from DNM Design - don’t let the small size fool you! The dimensions of the solid core wires are optimally designed to reduce eddy current effects, any larger would detract from performance.

In the late 1970’s DNM put the importance of power supplies on the map..... This led to the invention of the DNM SPLIT FOIL CAPACITOR the first electrolytic capacitors to overcome the problem of eddy current distortion. Following from this DNM invented T-Network Capacitors....the first electrolytic capacitors to silence the rectifi er, they filter 11dB more and filter three times higher in frequency than conventional electrolytic capacitors.

DNM were the first to control magnetic
field effects in circuit layouts and also the
first to use true three dimensional layouts
to improve performance... radial grounding
and power distribution characterises
all DNM designs. |
DNM’s in-depth research into amplifi er feedback and
its link to sound quality made possible transistor amplifiers that outperform even single ended valve designs.
NOTE: DNM avoids the use of metal canned
devices and mount them on expensive non-metallic
